“Richard” is the performance-installation inspired by the plays by W. Shakespeare. This theatre production is based on the famous chronicle “Richard III”. But spectators won’t see the classical plot, only the stylish visual concept, immersion into the digital environment and contemplations about the origin of tyranny. The story takes place on the internet, in the digital environment, which allows looking at the play from a different point of view. Who does Richard turn out to be? A murderer, an unloved son or a trickster?

The performance explores the origin of cruelty of the main character. A personal avatar of the digital-artist Alexander Nuvo, the former resident of Art. Lebedev Studio, will be presented in the project. The voice of the avatar is created by the electro musician Mikhail Klyapets (ODEB).
