There are no random names on the program of the International Theatre Forum TEART: all performances invited to Minsk are acclaimed works of theatre art that have adorned prestigious festivals around the world and received various awards.

TEART focuses on theatrical experimentation and artistic innovation.

The names of the directors that come to Minsk are known worldwide: Vasily Barhatov, Konstantin Bogomolov, Yuri Butusov, Krzysztof Warlikowski, Dmitry Volkostrelov, Romeo Castellucci, Jan Klyatyh, Oskaras Koršunovas, Stefan Kaegi, Krystian Lupa, Ohad Naharin, Kirill Serebrennikov, Alvis Hermanis, Grzegorz Jarzyna.

The Forum also presents a wide variety of countries including Belarus, Argentina, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Estonia and France.

Workshops, meetings with the creators of the performances and open discussions are a necessary part of the theatre festival.

TEART has been held in Minsk since 2011. Organizers of the Forum are the Visual and Performing Arts Centre “ART Corporation” and JSC “Belgazprombank” with the support of Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus.

JSC “Gazprom Transgaz Belarus” is the general partner of the festival.

International Film Festival «Listapad»

LISTAPAD

the biggest and most significant cinematic event in Belarus

Every year for a week in November Minsk International Film Festival “Listapad” turns Minsk into the center of cinematic life of the region, gathering up to 40 000 of spectators at 5 different cinema venues as well as more than 100 guests from all over the world.

The first “Listapad” Forum took place in Minsk in 1994 and up to 2002 it was called the “International Film Festival of CIS and Baltic Countries”. In 1996 the “People’s Choice Award” became the main festival award.

In 2010 Visual and Performing Arts Centre “ART Corporation” became the directorate of the festival. At that time the “Golden Listapad” awarded by an international jury of filmmakers was established as the main prize.

In 2011 International Federation of Film Producers Associations provided “Listapad” with a temporary accreditation. In 2013 after the trial period MIFF “Listapad” obtained the permanent accreditation of  FIAPF as a specialized competitive festival of feature and documentary films produced in Baltic and Central-Asian countries, Central and Eastern Europe and Russia. Festival joined the list of the most prestigious film forums, among them are the world-famous Cannes, Berlin, Venice, Warsaw and Moscow festivals.

The program of MIFF “Listapad” includes feature and documentary films competitions and also the Children and Youth Films Competition “Listapadzik”.

In 2014 the National Competition was established. It is a competition program, which includes films created by Belarusians living in Belarus or abroad. In 2015 the Industry section started working as part of the film forum and became a meeting place for the film industry professionals.

Minsk International Film Festival “Listapad” was founded on the initiative of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus.
